While the world was falling apart left and right, I was still able to enjoy some happy moments and beautiful days in June.

From family time, new recipes, to some of my favorite things from this month, here are my June favorites:

Spaghetti alla caprese- I love a good caprese salad or sandwich in the summertime. What I love just as much is a pasta dish that is inspired by the famous caprese salad. Thankfully, I recently came across a delicious spaghetti alla caprese recipe I saw on a Reel from The Pasta Queen, one of my favorite cooking follows on Instagram. Making this dish has reminded how much I enjoy her pasta recipes in her cookbook that I have.

Odele Thickening Shampoo & Thickening Conditioner- I naturally have beautiful, curly hair, but that all changed in recent years. From losing hair after having Covid a few years ago, to wild hair texture changes during pregnancy, to postpartum hair loss, and weird hair regrowth after stopping breastfeeding, my hair has gone through some serious and frequent changes in the past few years. I’ve kept up with regular haircuts and even tried a few different products and hairstyles to try to adapt to my ever changing hair, but the only products that recently have made a positive and noticeable difference with my hair has been using a thickening shampoo and a thickening conditioner to revitalize the various textures and lengths of hair I now have. My hair feels smoother, healthier, and more vibrant.
